This is a GREAT product. I hope I win a license.
It was a giveaway on giveawayoftheday.com. That site SAYS they give a free product each day to everyone. But their site doesn’t work! Often you can’t get the download after 8pm when it’s supposed to be available till 3am EST. You can download the program SOMETIMES, but it won’t install because the zip file is corrupted. If it’s not corrupted, their site must respond that the giveaway is on or you can’t install it period. Frequently their site gives only error messages during the giveaways. When it responds, you often’ don’t get ALL the info to register it. Their site says it’s activated but its NOT activated with the manufacturer. You have no idea it’s NOT activated until 30 days later when the manufacturer’s trial expires. Then you can’t use it, or change any settings.
This cheats you ENTIRELY out of any free trial. You think you have the program, but don’t have time to learn or use it. A month later when you go to use it, it’s dead. You don’t even get what the manufacturer gives for free. It’s a rip-off.
Giveawayoftheday.com moderates and blocks comments to their board. They decide if they will let your comment show. I leave many posts, positive comments, suggestions and comments that I can’t activate the software. MANY never appear. Look at past giveaways - so many many complaints, can’t install, won’t activate, site not available. Giveawayoftheday.com doesn’t reply to emails. If you email the software vendor, their response is “The giveaway is over.” Though you NEVER had a chance to GET it.

The Daily Buggle is GREAT. They don’t play ANY of those games! They’re very concerned with happy, loyal followers. If you win the freebie, you get a REAL permanent license! Not a fake license that’s no good if you reinstall your operating system. The Daily Buggle has done a great job with all their bundles, deals and freebies. And they don’t promote junk programs.
I’d wish Daily Buggle would compete with Giveawayoftheday.com and give a free download a day - but on a site that works. That in addition to what they do now, providing deals on top shelf software, giving away freebies and sharing excellent How-To Articles! I don’t work for Daily Buggle nor am I affiliated with them.
We must support and show our appreciation for companies like the Daily Buggle who provide honest service and that don’t try to scam people. It’s rarer every day. I hope Daily Buggle tells software manufacturers (like Auslogics today) what I said, so they do more giveaways here, instead of getting bad press and making enemies on the other site.
The way to get rid of bad companies that waste our time, ignore us and treat us badly is to support companies that do the OPPOSITE things! Thanks all!
